Authentic Healing & Counseling was exactly what I needed during the most difficult years of my life. Gina has been my therapist consistently for three years. I can confidently say that she has been integral to my thriving during this time, during which I have undergone a divorce, been affected by addiction, started a new career path, and discovered my own traumas. She has helped me not only heal from these experiences, but also find wisdom behind them, and this has given me strength and resiliency I didn't know I possessed. She is well versed and trained in the field of counseling, trauma, and psychology and it is obvious that this work is not just a job, but a deep passion for her. She prioritizes her clients and practice by constantly seeking additional training, workshops, and certifications. Gina has been my therapist for years for a reason -- I am always learning something new from her fountain of knowledge. She skillfully incorporates her background into her eclectic approach and I truly feel that she uses therapeutic modalities that work best for me. I specifically have benefitted from her excellent EMDR and IFS therapies. Gina is inspirational and she is one of the reasons I am now pursuing a career in counseling. Her practice is trustworthy and I have only been met with compassion, professionalism, and reliability there, whether with scheduling, payments, or insurance. I even saw LMFT Bryant Packard here for marriage therapy several times and he is incredibly wise, empathetic, and skilled in Neurofeedback Therapy. I always felt understood and that my needs were addressed while working with him. Authentic Healing & Counseling also offers trauma sensitive yoga classes, which I found to be grounding, healing, and inclusive. I have seen several therapists before and Gina surpasses them all. I’ve been seeing Liz for my depression and anxiety for a little over a year now and cannot begin to explain what a positive impact she has had on my life. I have undergone some of the most toughest challenges in my life in the past year, and Liz has been there to help guide me through it all. She is very attentive during our sessions and remembers details about my life, which is something I really appreciate. Her form of therapy is often direct, but never judgmental and she (gently) forces me to confront difficult things that I would have rather avoided. Kateri has been so supportive throughout my journey with EMDR, and her flexibility is unparalleled. She has set such a great precedent for what a healthy therapeutic relationship should look like. Bryant was a wonderful introduction to neurofeedback, and fully explains everything step by step in a way the client can understand it.
